Sometimes,
I feel that the Bible should be banned all over the world. Because it not only
misguides people in fields like history and science, but it also presents so
many self-contradictions, sick passages and stupid stories that can irritate
anyone who is capable of logical reasoning. In this article, we are going to look
at some more Biblical madness.
A disgusting and
inhumane punishment
2 Samuel 12: 11: You will see it when I take your wives
from you and give them to another man; and he will have intercourse with them
in broad daylight.
A
god, who commands his followers not to commit adultery, will himself make their
wives commit adultery with other men. Is there any limit to Yahweh’s madness?
Killing more innocents
for no reason
2 Samuel 6: 6- 8 shows Yahweh killing Uzzah, an
innocent man just because the oxen stumbled and Uzzah took hold of the Covenant
Box probably to prevent it from falling. Instead of rewarding him, Yahweh chose
to kill Uzzah.
1 Kings 20: 35- 36 shows Yahweh’s puppet cursing and
killing another one of his puppets just because the latter decided not to hit the
former. Seriously, this god kills people not only for trivial matters, but also
for no reason.
Isaiah 14: 21: Let the slaughter begin! The sons of
this king will die because of their ancestors’ sins.
Such a bloodthirsty god. I don't know what else to say about Yahweh's personality.
Stupid proverbs
The
proverbs section is full of nonsense. Let us take a look at some examples:
Proverbs 13: 20: Keep company with the wise and you
will become wise.
My comment: Rotten logic. That’s all I can say.
Proverbs 16: 10: The king speaks with divine
authority, his decisions are always right.
My comment: As if there haven’t been evil kings
in history. Passages like this only confirm that the Bible was written to loot
and control the masses.
Proverbs 17: 7: Respected people do not tell lies.
My comment: Wow! I never knew that. So, all the
“respected” politicians who have been accused of corruption are all innocent,
right?
Proverbs 17: 24: An intelligent person aims at wise
action.
My comment: So, all intelligent men are wise?
Wish it really was that way!
Proverbs 21: 19: Better to live out in the desert
with a nagging, complaining wife.
My comment: Neither sounds good. If you ask for
my advice, I’d say- get a divorce.
Proverbs 22: 6: Teach a child how he should live,
and he will remember it all his life.
My comment: Whoever wrote this should try
raising a child himself and see if it is that easy.
Proverbs 29: 19: You cannot correct a servant by
talking to him.
My comment: Yeah, so the only way to knock some
sense into his head would be to take a stick and beat him, right?
Proverbs 27: 22: Even if you bet a fool until he’s
half dead, you still can’t beat his foolishness out of him.
My comment: Now, wait a minute, if beating him
wouldn’t work, nor would talking to him, then how should I educate a fool? Stone
to death?
Proverbs 10: 19: The more you talk, the more likely
you are to sin. If you are wise, you will keep quiet.
My comment: …
Blessed
are the merciful.
