The Bible vs. the Koran

As long as people believe in absurdities, they will commit atrocities. –Voltaire

The Bible vs. the Koran

I can’t say there are no self-contradictions or inconsistencies in the Koran. But, I have to say that the Koran is a lot better than the Bible. In Bible, we have the story of Abraham, whose god told him to sacrifice his son as an act of worship, but told him at the last moment that it was only a test. This story really is very bloody and cruel. The Koran presents the same story in a different way. It says that Abraham, in a dream, saw himself sacrificing his son. In other words, he was probably inspired by Satan to commit the crime of murdering his own son. But, Allah intercepted him at the last moment and told him not to kill his son. It is also unlikely that a god who commands, “Thou shall not kill” would command you to kill your little son.
Unlike the Bible, the Koran doesn’t talk about bloody animal and human sacrifices. It only talks about the relationship of humans with God.

More about madness in orthodox Christianity

As Voltaire said, since orthodox Christianity is full of absurdities, it is the religion that has committed the largest number of atrocities. Orthodox Christianity has always been and will always be the enemy of science and civilization. It has punished people for saying universal truths like the Earth is round.
Orthodox Christians claim that there is a lot of “proof” that supports their doctrines. That’s nonsense. Their “proofs” are like this-
Someone says that elves exist. You say that they don’t.
He says that the elves cause rain. You don’t reply.
It starts raining. He says, “Look, it is raining. I told you elves exist.”
It is also funny that every Christian sect thinks that their god is on their side. They don’t know that either the Christian god doesn’t exist, or the Bible has wrongly described him. Burning in hell forever just because you didn’t believe in or didn’t hear about Jesus? Such malevolent blasphemy!
In this article, I am going to discuss a lot of important falsehoods in Christianity. Let’s start by taking a look at another list of self-contradictions.

Question number 1- Does the Christian god change his mind?
Numbers 23: 19: God is not like men, who lie; He is not a human who changes his mind.
Exodus 32: 14: So the Lord changed his mind and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened.

Question number 2- Is God ready to help us when we are in trouble?
Psalms 46: 1: God is our shelter and strength, always ready to help us in times of trouble.
Psalms 10: 1: Why are you so far away, O Lord? Why do you hide yourself when we are in trouble?

Question number 3- Can rich people become Christians?
Matthew 27: 57: When it was evening, a rich man from Arimathea arrived; his name was Joseph, and he also was a disciple of Jesus.
Luke 6: 24: But how terrible for you who are rich now; you have had your easy life!

Question number 4- Is it okay to eat food offered to idols?
Acts 15: 29: Eat no food that has been offered to idols.
1 Corinthians 8: 8: Food, however, will not improve our relations with God; we shall not lose anything if we do not eat, nor shall we gain anything if we do eat.

Question number 5:  For how long were the Hebrews kept in Egypt?
Exodus 12: 41: On the day the 430 years ended, all the tribes of the Lord’s people left Egypt.
Acts 7: 6: This is what God said to Abraham, “Your descendants will live in a foreign country, where they will be slaves and will be badly treated for four hundred years.”

Question number 6: Did Jesus teach violence?
Luke 22: 36: Whoever has no sword must sell his coat and buy one.
Matthew 5: 39: If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, let him slap your left cheek too.

Question number 7- Does wisdom make us happy?
Proverbs 3: 13: Happy is the man who becomes wise- who gains understanding.
Ecclesiastes 1: 18: The wiser you are, the more worries you have; the more you know; the more it hurts.

Question number 8- Do other gods exist?
Exodus 18: 11: Now I know that the Lord is greater than all the gods, because he did this when the Egyptians treated the Israelites with such contempt.
Deuteronomy 4: 39: The Lord is God in heaven and on earth. There is no other god.

Question number 9- Does Yahweh’s anger last forever?
Psalms 103: 9: He does not keep on rebuking; he is not angry forever.
Jeremiah 17: 4: My anger is like a fire and it will burn forever.

Question number 10- Do the righteous suffer like the wicked?
Ecclesiastes 9: 2: A good man is no better off than a sinner.
Proverbs 12: 21: Nothing bad happens to righteous people, but the wicked have nothing but trouble.

I am sure that if all orthodox Christians read my lists about self-contradictions and inconsistencies in the Bible, many of them will realize how they were blinded by false doctrines and will leave Christianity. But, I don’t want that. Instead of rejecting Christianity, I want them to reject the Bible or at least stop calling the Bible a word of God. The Bible is nothing more than a pathetic attempt of the ancient Jews and Christians to create a book of morality. In today’s world, if anyone tries to justify their actions using the Bible, they are either hypocrites or fools.

The stupid story of creation- Part 2

Genesis 1: 11- 13: Then he commanded, “Let the earth bear produce all kinds of plants, those that bear grain and those that bear fruit”- and it was done. So the earth produced all kinds of plants, and God was pleased with what he saw. Evening passed and morning came- that was the third day.
Note that the sun has not been created yet. Only orthodox Christians can understand how the plants survived without the help of a sun. Scientists can’t.

Genesis 1: 14- 19: Then God commanded, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate day from night and to show the time when days, years, and religious festivals begin; they will shine in the sky to give light to the earth”- and it was done. So God made the two larger lights, the sun to rule over the day and the moon to rule over the night; he also made the stars. He placed the lights in the sky to shine on the earth, to rule over the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God was pleased with what he saw. Evening passed and morning came- that was the fourth day.
Ha, ha, ha, ha. So, all the stars exist just in order to provide light for the earth. All I can say is that it would have been more convenient if Yahweh didn’t make them so far away from our planet.

Genesis 1: 21- 23: Then God commanded, “Let the water be filled with many kinds of living beings, and let the air be filled with birds.” So God created the great sea-monsters, all kinds of creatures that live in the water, and all kinds of birds. And God was pleased with what he saw. He blessed them all and told the creatures that live in the water to reproduce, and to fill in the sea, and he told the birds to increase in number.  Evening passed and morning came. That was the fifth day.
If he really is so powerful, why did he need to tell the birds and sea animals to reproduce to increase their numbers? He could have created lots of them himself!

Laughing is good for your health. But, sometimes, laughing too much can kill. So, I will have to stop this story here.
Orthodox Christianity has used nothing but cheap lies to spread their madness and false propagandas. So, the best weapon against them is the truth. Truth is also the very weapon orthodox Christians are afraid of. We can reveal the truth to the world and let them die in embarrassment.
Blessed are the merciful.

A book of self-contradictions

We already know that majority of the Bible is plain hypocrisy, madness and self-contradictions. Even though there are mountains of irrefutable evidence to support this claim, orthodox Christians are hardly convinced that they shouldn’t follow the Bible. Now, don’t get the wrong idea about what I am saying. I am not asking you to leave Christianity. I understand that you have the right to be a Christian, but what I am trying to do is make you understand that you are wrong.

Now, I am going to list some more Biblical self-contradictions. I hope you all enjoy this list.

Question number 1: Is having a good reputation wrong?
Proverbs 22: 1: If you have to choose between a good reputation and great wealth, choose a good reputation.
Luke 6: 26: How terrible when all people speak well of you…

Question number 2: Are Christians supposed to worry about providing for family?
Luke 18: 29- 30: “I assure you that anyone who leaves home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the Kingdom of God will receive much more in this present age and eternal life in the age to come.”
Timothy 5: 8: If anyone does not take care of his relatives, especially the members of his own family, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

Question number 3- Is it okay to drink wine?
Proverbs 20: 1: Drinking too much makes you loud and foolish. It’s stupid to get drunk.
Deuteronomy 14: 26: Spend it on whatever you want- beef, lamb, wine…

Question number 4- Is it okay to address your father as “Father”?
Matthew 15: 4: Respect your father and mother.
Matthew 23: 9: And you must not call anyone here on earth “Father”, because you have only the one Father in heaven.

Question number 5- Who killed Goliath?
1 Samuel 17: 50: And, so, without a sword, David defeated and killed Goliath with a catapult and a stone!
2 Samuel 21: 19: Elhanan son of Jair from Bethlehem killed Goliath from Gath…

Historical contradictions, Spiritual contradictions, Moral contradictions, the Bible is the book with the highest number of contradictions. I pity those who are still not convinced so. Anyone who still believes in the Bible is either a fool or he is doing so because he is being forced by his parents, or maybe because he works in the church and doesn’t want to lose his job. Thankfully, the number of orthodox Christians is dying which means that people are slowly coming out of the world of stupid delusions.

The stupid story of creation- Part 1
Now, let’s take a look at the first part of the story of creation in Genesis and know how crazy it is.
Genesis 1: 1- 2: In the beginning, when God created the universe, the earth was formless and desolate. The raging ocean that covered everything was engulfed in total darkness, and the power of God was moving over the water.
If the earth was formless and desolate…… where the hell did this water hover over? And how can something be Formless? Shouldn’t it read: the earth was round, and empty?
Genesis 1: 3: Then God commanded, “Let there be light”- and light appeared.
Okay, wait a minute… If there was no light previously then how did he know that the earth was formless, or empty?
Genesis 1: 4- 5: God was pleased with what he saw. Then he separated the light from the darkness, and he named the light “Day” and the darkness “Night”. Evening passed and morning came- that was the first day.
So, dawn, dusk and afternoon were created much later? Why isn’t it mentioned so, then?
Genesis 1: 6- 8: Then God commanded, “Let there be a dome to divide the water and to keep it in two different places”- and it was done. So God made a dome, and it separated the water under it from the water above it. He named the dome “Sky”. Evening passed and morning came- that was the second day.
Wait, so do you really expect me to believe that there is water above the sky and that’s where all the rain comes from? Laughable!
Genesis 1: 9: Then God commanded, “Let the water below the sky come together in one place, so that the land will appear”- and it was done.
Hmm, so if this is how everything went, then there must have been one island at the beginning? Wonder why the Bible doesn’t explain how this single island became so many continents.
Genesis 1: 10: He named the land “Earth” and the water which had come together he named “Sea”. And God was pleased with what he saw.
Yahweh may be pleased, but I certainly am not pleased at this stupid and childish story of creation.

This story will be continued in my next article. Look forward to it.

Blessed are the merciful.

Biblical justice

Today, we know that our laws are flawed. But, compared to the Biblical laws, they are hundred times better. In this article, we will look at how the Bible says justice should be done. I will begin with the Ten Commandments.

Commandment 1 (Exodus 20: 3) says- Worship no god but me.
Christians will proudly cite this commandment in front of polytheists, but they will try to hide the punishment that the Bible commands on those who worship other gods. Take a look-
Deuteronomy 17: 2- 5: Suppose you hear that in one of your towns some man or woman has sinned against the Lord and broken his covenant by worshipping and serving other gods or the sun or the moon or the stars, contrary to the Lord’s command. If you hear such a report, then investigate it thoroughly. If it is true that this evil thing happened in Israel, then take that person outside the town and stone him to death.
A severe punishment for a small crime, don’t you think so? Now, let’s continue to the other commandments.

Commandment 2 (Exodus 20: 4) says- Do not make for yourselves images of anything in heaven or on earth or in the water under the earth.
Now, let us take a look at the punishment for breaking this commandment.
Deuteronomy 27: 15: God’s curse on anyone who makes an idol of stone, wood or metal and secretly worships it; the Lord hates idolatry.

Commandment 3 (Exodus 20: 7) says- Do not use my name for evil purposes, for I, the Lord your God, will punish anyone who misuses my name.
I am sure the punishment for breaking this commandment will be shocking for anyone, especially for people who always believed in the Ten Commandments.
Leviticus 24: 16: Any Israelite or any foreigner who curses the Lord shall be stoned to death by the whole community.

Commandment 4 (Exodus 20: 8) says- Observe the Sabbath and keep it holy.
And, those who don’t…
Exodus 31: 15: Whoever does any work on the Sabbath is to be put to death.

Commandment 5 (Exodus 20: 12) says- Respect your father and mother, so that you may live a long time in the land I am giving you.
Isn’t respecting one’s parents a matter of common sense?
Exodus 20: 17: Whoever curses his father or his mother is to be put to death.

Commandment 6 (Exodus 20: 13) says- Do not commit murder.
Murder is the worst kind of crime. I personally believe that some murderers may be forgiven, but anyway, let’s take a look at what the Bible commands.
Exodus 21: 12: Whoever hits a man and kills him is to be put to death.

Commandment 7 (Exodus 20: 14) says- Do not commit adultery.
I believe sexual behavior is not a part of religion, but it is a matter of social common sense. But the Bible’s punishment is unbelievable as usual.
Deuteronomy 22: 22: If a man is caught having intercourse with another man’s wife, both of them are to be put to death. In this way you will get rid of this evil.

Commandment 8 (Exodus 20: 15) says -Do not steal.
The punishment for stealing may not be death, but the killing of a thief has been approved.
Exodus 22: 4: If a thief is caught breaking into a house at night and is killed, the one who killed him is not guilty of murder.

Commandment 9 (Exodus 20: 16) says- Do not bear false witness.
Even disobeying this commandment requires a terrible punishment.
Proverbs 19: 9: No one who tells lies in court can escape punishment; he is doomed.

Commandment 10 (Exodus 20: 17) says- Do not desire another man’s house; do not desire his wife, his slaves, his cattle, his donkeys, or anything else that he owns.
This commandment is just the same as Commandment 7 and Commandment 8 combined. So, the punishment remains the same. Let me give another example though.
Exodus 22: 1: If a man steals a cow or a sheep and kills it or sells it, he must pay five cows for one cow and four sheep for one sheep.

So, now you know the truth about the Ten Commandments, don’t you? Orthodox Christians talk about love, compassion and mercy, but not even a single commandment does.

So, if you are an orthodox Christian, next time you think you are going to try to force those commandments down someone’s throat, think again. If you are not a Christian, then if some hypocritical orthodox Christian tries to force the Ten Commandments on you, simply link him/her to this page. Now, let’s look at some more Biblical laws that may be offensive to us, but are “laws of God” for orthodox Christians.

Is it okay for Christians to sell their daughters as slaves?
Yes, because Yahweh himself says so. All they need to do is follow some “rules”.
Exodus 21: 7- 8: If a man sells his daughter as a slave, she is not to be set free, as male slaves are. If she is sold to someone who intends to make her his wife, but he doesn’t like her, then she is to be sold back to her father; her master cannot sell her to foreigners, because he has treated her unfairly.

If someone kills his slave, what should be done?
Exodus 21: 20: If a man takes a stick and beats his slave, whether male or female, and the slave dies on the spot, the man is to be punished. But, if the slave does not die for a day or two, the master is not to be punished. The loss of his property is punishment enough.
Wow, Yahweh himself has declared that slaves are nothing more than property. Also, there seems to be no logic in this law. If the slave doesn’t die immediately, the man is not to be punished. Why? In fact, the man should be punished more because he made the slave die a slow death.

Is it okay for Christians to kill their relatives if they worship a different god?
Deuteronomy 13: 6- 10 justifies the killing of anyone, even relatives who worships any other god that Yahweh.

After marriage, if a girl is not found to be a virgin, what should be done?
Deuteronomy 22: 13-21 says that she should be stoned to death. What a pity! Also, it is interesting to note that the same doesn’t apply for a man.

Is it okay for Christians to offer their daughters as a sacrifice to their god?
Judges 11: 29- 40 says that Yahweh accepted Jephthah’s daughter as a sacrifice. Even though Yahweh didn’t command the sacrifice, neither did he disapprove, nor did he show any pity for the poor girl.

What a cruel and malevolent god Yahweh is. Yet, orthodox Christians think of him as loving and compassionate and even force others to worship such a monstrous god. In today’s world, I believe that anyone who forces others to adopt a different religion should be punished by the law.

Blessed are the merciful.

Why the Bible is a crazy book?

Stupid cattle-sacrificing primitives of ancient times wrote lots of nonsense which is contained in the book known as the Bible. Yet, even educated people of modern times, who even know how to operate computers, believe such nonsense. What’s pathetic is that they claim such nonsense to come from, or at least, inspired by God. I don’t understand why they like the Bible and support it so much. Maybe just because they are paid to do so. Deep inside, maybe they know that the majority of the Bible is plain garbage. If that’s not the case, all I can say is that there is nothing worse than blind faith.

Let us take a look more self-contradictions in the Bible.

Question number 1: Did Jesus tell his disciples everything?

John 15: 15: …I have told you everything I heard from my Father.
John 16: 12: I have much more to tell you but now it would be too much for you to bear.

Question number 2: Is it only God who can perform miracles?

Psalms 136: 4: He alone performs great miracles…
2 Thessalonians 2: 9: The Wicked One will come with the power of Satan and perform all kinds of false miracles and wonders…

Question number 3: Does God approve slavery?

Luke 4: 18: He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind…
Ephesians 6: 5: Slaves, obey your human masters with fear and trembling; and do it with a sincere heart, as though you were serving Christ.

Question number 4: Does God approve animal sacrifice?

Psalms 40: 6: You do not want sacrifices and offerings; you do not want animals burnt whole on the altar or for sacrifices to take away sins.
Genesis 4: 4: Then Abel brought the first lamb born to one of his sheep, killed it, and gave the best parts as an offering. The Lord was pleased with Abel and his offering…

Question number 5: Does God approve human sacrifice?
2 Kings 21: 6: He sacrificed his son as a burnt offering. He practiced divination and magic and consulted fortune-tellers and mediums. He sinned greatly against the Lord and stirred his anger.
Genesis 22: 2: “Take your son,” God said, “your only son, Isaac, whom you love so much, and go to the land of Moriah. There on a mountain I will show you, offer him as a sacrifice to me.”

Question number6: Can a Christian call someone a fool?

Matthew 5: 22: Whoever calls his brother a worthless fool will be in danger of going to the fire of hell.
Matthew 23: 17: Blind fools!

Question number 7: Is it good to be happy?
Proverbs 17: 22: Being cheerful keeps you healthy. It is slow death to be gloomy all the time.
Luke 6: 25: How terrible for you who laugh now; you will mourn and weep!

Question number 8: Can hard work make us rich?
Proverbs 10: 22: It is the Lord’s blessing that makes you wealthy. Hard work can make you no richer.
Proverbs 10: 4: Being lazy will make you poor, but hard work will make you rich.

Question number 9: Can women be church leaders?
Romans 16: 1: I recommend you to our sister Phoebe, who serves the church at Cenchreae.
1 Corinthians 14: 25: It is a disgraceful thing for a woman to speak in church.

Question number 10: Is the Christian God merciful?
Exodus 34: 6: I, the Lord, am a God who is full of compassion and pity, who is not easily angered and who shows great love and faithfulness.
Lamentations 2: 2: The Lord destroyed without mercy every village in Judah and tore down the forts that defended the land.

The above self-contradictions are very embarrassing for those who claim the Bible to be infallible.  To prove that the Bible is not infallible, I need to point out only one self-contradiction. But, in my articles, I have pointed out too many of them for orthodox Christians to count. One or two of them may be countered, but I dare say that no one, not even the greatest Christian scholar can counter all the self-contradictions I mentioned, because they ARE self-contradictions. Arguing with me won’t change that fact.

You must surely be chuckling after reading the above list of self-contradictions.             Unless you’re an orthodox Christian, that is.

Most orthodox Christians are illogical and stupid. That’s why majority of the world’s greatest philosophers were freethinkers, deists or atheists. Let’s see what some of the world’s greatest men said about Christianity.

Christianity is the most ridiculous, the most absurd and bloody religion that has ever infected the world. –Voltaire (French writer)

I say quite deliberately that the Christian religion, as organized in its churches, has been and still is the principal enemy of moral progress in this world. –Bertrand Russell (English philosopher and mathematician.)

I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. You Christians are so unlike your Christ. –Mahatma Gandhi (Indian freedom fighter and spiritual leader)

Muslims believe that whatever is written in the Koran alone is true. Christians too believe that truth is contained in the Bible only. They believe that nobody, howsoever noble and virtuous he may be, can ever be redeemed if he does not believe in Jesus Christ. They have provided only one door to the house of the Lord- the door of Jesus! People provide a number of doors and windows to their houses, but how strange it is that they provide only one door to God’s house. –Vinoba (Indian freedom fighter and spiritual leader.)

If Christ were here now, there is one thing he would not be- a Christian. –Mark Twain (American writer.)

It is a fact that anyone who has a sense of logic or justice will reject orthodox Christianity. Jesus was a rebel in his days. If he was alive today, he would still be a rebel. Maybe he would also cry because though he fought against hypocrisy, and in the process got crucified, in his name, today hypocrisy has increased a lot more than there was in the time of Jesus.

Orthodox Christians believe that Jesus Christ will come once again to remove all evil from Earth. If he will come, then the evil of the orthodox Christians is the very evil Jesus will come to put an end to.

Blessed are the merciful.
